Hi, everyone.
Getting ready for my first backpacking trip, going through central and eastern europe (with some jaunts over to western europe). I'm going to be doing some consulting work while I'm over there, so I'll be hauling my ultralight laptop with me. I'm going to be hostelling, etc., so I'm worried about safety. How do people normally secure valuables like the laptop? I'll have it inside a daybag inside my larger pack, but I'm sure it would still be an easy target. Would it be safe to lock it up inside lockers, should I lock it up when I sleep, etc.?
Thanks for all your great advice in the other posts - I've been scouring through them to get as much knowledge as I can before heading over!
