Default I Love My Tpunks! Thanks Guys!!!

So there I am having a pretty crappy few months where the hits just keep on coming. It has been a very tough and long road, one that I wish no one to ever go through. I remain optimistic, though and know that the sun will come up...it always does .

Needless to say, any good news is refreshing to my spirit.

So I go to pick up my mail and there is a rather thick envelope from Jake in AZ.

I open it and find this plethora of postcards from around the world !

Man, let me tell you...I was floored with tears of joy, if you know what I mean.

Thank you all sooooooooo much for lifting me up when I most needed it!

I love you all, man! Group fricken hug, yo !

It was great to read your kind and inspirational words and I tell you that it is moments like this that make it all worth while to keep the spirit of TravelPUNK alive....forever !

Believe me, I know how difficult it can be to send out a postcard. I am the worst at it !

Here's a list of whom I would like to personally thank for taking time off from the TPunk boards, getting a postcard(s), taking the time to write a cool message, and dropping it off to be mailed.

TheJake- from Surprise, AZ
Blinkchick -from wherever you are these days, babe!
Mooloo- from Wanganui, New Zealand
Maracle- Austin, TX
DC_Jessica (twice!) from Pittsburgh, PA (go steelers!) and Washington DC
MissChick & Slacker- from Loveland, CO
Sijuki- Vegas, baby! NV
Kevin-L - from New York, New York
Indierock05- from Cairns, Queensland, AUS
Lizz- from Wilmington, NC
Raoulduke- from Melbourne, AUS
mb0108- from Ireland
Joe7f (twice!) Gibralter, Spain and Marbella, Spain
Diorama- Wellington, New Zealand
Freespiritz- from Malaysia
Aliz- from Sydney, AUS
jengt- from Costa Rica

Florenica- from Buenos Aires, Argentina
MolsonGirl- from Toronto, Canada
I've been informed that you sent postcards too, but something happened ! Thank you sooo much!

The pictures of your hometowns and places you traveled to were so beautiful. I have only been to Spain, Vegas, and AZ, on that list so the pictures on the postcards got my juices flowing .

Look at the TPUNKS from NZ and AUS! Man, you guys represented! I am a bonafide Oceanic fan !

Seriously, everyone, thank you sooo much for that. I am deeply moved by this act of kindness.

To those who didn't send a postcard....Banned ! I keed, I keed ... I know how busy we all are and the fact that you even take the time out of your days to log on and break bread with the family and help out others is testament enough to how dedicated you are to TravelPUNK .

And most of all, I'd like to thank their ring leader, TheJake. Jake, my man, thanks for orchestrating this outstanding gift that truly made my day, inspired and overwhelmed me. It came at the right time bro, believe you me.

This definitely ranks right up there with the award that WorldWideMike (and all of you who pitched in) presented to me at the camping trip!

I swear, one day I'm gonna buy a big ol ranch and make it a permanent hangout for all TPunks. y'all are like brothas and sistas to me .

Thanks again and drinks are on da house !

Wow, that is awesomeness!

Well, keep your head up, Tone! You are far from alone right now.

And you are definitely one of the coolest guys I have ever met (if that's any consolation)!

Florencia mailed one too

But I guess customs thought it was too cool to let through or something because it disappeared in the mail.

Thanks again for all the work on this site

There were a few lost in the mail! Flor's and MG's and a few others I believe!

No worries mate. I'd actually forgotten all about that and it made my day just knowing you appreciated them all so much.

Sorry about my shit handwriting.

Cheers Tony

How did I not know about sending postcards?! Was this an organised postcard send-out or something? Maybe I'm a little slow. Needless to say, I would have sent an "I LOVE BIRMINGHAM" postcard. You can't get classier than that.

We did it through Facebook because we thought sending a private message to so many Tpunks through the site may make Tony suspicious .
