Default Canada on a working holiday visa

Hi guys

I havnt posted in a while - but I have been keeping my eye on posts. In the past ive looked at going over to Canada but nothing ever came of it. Now im definitly keen to do this sometime next year!

If my visa gets approved I will be coming on a working holiday visa and will be able to stay for a year. I want to do some research before I start applying for visas and paying for things.

What area would be best for work? I was looking at Vancouver - is one area taxed higher than others? I know cities are always expensive but is any one in particular more expensive than others with rent and food etc..? And most importantly - weather! Ive been living in England for the last 4 years and im sick of crappy weather, I need somewhere with a proper summer!

Thanks in advance!

Vancouver is rainy but otherwise I am told its lovely. I am not really one to give advice as I have only really lived in Ontario but I think its awesome that you're doing this!
