Default Cheap NY Broadway Tickets

Hi all-

I'll be giong to NYC at the end of March. I've heard there are places you can buy discounted tickets for Broadway shows.

Does anyone have more information about this? Do you have to wait in a long line?

Any suggestions on the best Musical out there?

Thanks!

Visit the TKTS booth on the morning of the show
Some shows also offer student "rush" tickets or have a lottery for cheap tickets on the day of the show. Check out the TDF's website and each individual show's webpage for more information.

Though I haven't seen any of them, there are a couple musicals that usually get great reviews...
Avenue Q
Mama Mia!
Hairspray
and Spamalot

LOL...a show doesn't keep running for OVER TEN YEARS...what're they at now? like 15 years? which doesn't get good reviews. The producers is bloody amazing, you'll love it. Of course Matthew Broderick (for those crazy peeps who don't know who he is~ Ferris Buler) is no longer in it which is sad, but I'm sure it'll still be really good.

Aw, I miss NYC...when I went I had such a great time (how can you not, on a Drama trip...so basically we were in our element. haha we ACTUALLY ran around times square singing in the rain. Best night of my life)

Thanks for the help! I regret not going to Musical in London when I was there, I'm not going to miss one in NYC!

Cheers!

If you show up at certain times you can also ask for "rush" tickets which are much cheaper.
