oh shit! where do I start?

Im going to go against the flow on this one, I can feel it already, some will oppose my answer Im sure, but I must answer from experience so take it easy on me

My top picks for cities or countries would have to be...

Holland

Holland has some festivals that will shoot you into a different world for several days if not weeks. I have now been to 3 festivals in Holland where more than 10,000 were present, the music wasnt "trendy", it was deep and left you whirling around a trail of curious thoughts and dreams. I guess you would need to time it right for these events because otherwise the nightlife is, well average, maybe a notch above, but not much.

San Francisco California

Yeah I have to scream for the home team now and then . San Francisco California, God I love that city. An ultra fast pace city thriving with energy and when the sun goes down another side of its dwellers shine through the night like you wouldnt believe. Its crowded, intriguing, full of sites and sounds, and has a great fucking way of expressing itself at night. There are too many clubs for me to list, Ive probably hit at least 15 different ones as well as a big ass boat party two years ago. The one I was most pleased with is called TEN 15 (its located on 1015 Folsum street ) The last time I was in TEN 15 there was a live drum circle on stage with a bunch of peeps from some other world beating drums while a couple of San Fran's finest trance creaters battled it out on the tables. Women would come out of the masses and give you a hug and then just vanish into the sea of bodies, why? because at that point in time, they were loving life, and that has stuck with me since. So for authenticity of a good time, I choose San Francisco as my fav

I'm going to be in madrid, london, and a few places in france and italy for sure this summer. Any idea for hot places to go out? B) Dance, drink, etc. I have some friends in England that I'm sure will take me out... but I like going out by my lonesome sometimes just to meet new friends.

hey ash check out Ministry of Sound in London. Its a huge meeting point for foreigners so the social scene is perfect. Its a mega club and usually the music is good, sometimes trendy but rarely.

Hey ash, in Madrid during the summer time, there is a bumpin outdoor club called La Viaje Estacion. It's right by the main train station in Madrid and I believe it's only open from June-Aug.
Close to that is Kapital. I believe the same people that run La Viaje, also run Kapital.
Closer to Sol, the center of Madrid, there is a club called Joy. It's pretty happening there too, last I checked.
Also, Serrano 41, about a 10 minute cab ride from Sol, has a lively scene too. That's where I've seen some of Madrids celebs, since it's in a higher class neighborhood. Actually, my friend works there so drinks, for me, were always on the house

But, just walking around any of the districts in madrid, there'll be lots of options in terms of bars and clubs (big and small).

sangriaaaaaaaaaa, baby!

Thumbs up

I thought Crobar was in NY?

La Boom is still around? Wow, it was there like many years ago when I was in Cancun. We went to Daddy O's instead though.

Well my list of clubs or parties would have to be

Ibiza(Privilege), Vegas(Rain), Switzerlan(Zurich, during the out door festival in august), L.A(club snatch), Amsterdam, Prague(don't remember the name of the place but it was in a small castle).

I just came back from a NY trip... I was so spoiled there cause I met a guy who is a native (and happens to be the brother of a celeb ) nice huh? We had in's everywhere we went.

My favorites were Pangia, Avalon (March 13th Carl cox is spinning), and Suede (which is a really really small place). All of them play a deep, funky, progressive house. Great dark velvety atmosphere. If you want to email me I'll forward some Guest list info to you.

Have a blast!

Plaid (which used to be the spa) is pretty cool for after hours... a big gay crowd though... and great music!

Right now in LA Lotus and Avalon are the hot tickets. Though I've been to Avalon and I wouldn't recomend going unless all you're looking for are celebs... just because its 'hot' doesnt mean its good Its pretty much still the Palace to me. I prefer Miagi's (sp?), Cinespace, or Ivar.
