Default Yay for GearTrade!

Alright, I just have to celebrate a little bit on here, since nobody else in my little social circle seems to want to hear about how I just got a very dreamy backpack (Osprey Aura 65) for $100, which is $140 less than retail through geartrade.com! Wooooo! :3

I also snagged a sleeping bag for $30 last week, so I'm excited to start building up my gear collection.. haha, it probably sounds like I'm some saleslady for the website, but I didn't see it posted anywhere on TPunk, so I thought I'd just share the knowledge for those of you who might be looking for some used (and often quite cheap) travel stuff - packs, sleeping bags, shoes, tents, blah blah..

Another one you might check out is steepandcheap.com, I haven't gotten anything from there but it seems like there could be some pretty good deals for the somewhat patient.. :D

That seems like a very good price! Congrats!

Nice job on the cheap gear. The cascades won't know what hit em.
I found a sick marmot down bag at sierratradingpost on the cheap. Works like a dream.
