8 Weeks in Western Europe
Hey everyone, been reading up on all the posts and there's a lot of solid information there. Hoping I can get some of that good advice before I solidify my plans.
I'm traveling with my little sister after she finishes up a quarter studying abroad in Florence. It's not our first time in Europe, but it is our first time traveling on our own, so I wanna make sure I get it right, make it a good time This is the tentative schedule:
7/28 - Barcelona - 3 nights, train out to Lyon morning of the 31st.
7/31 - Lyon - 2 nights
8/2 - Avignon - 2 nights
8/4 - Nice - 2 nights
8/6 - Italy - 12 nights. The sister really wants to hit up Milan, Venice, Rome, Florence, Pisa, La Spezia, and Naples; I'm looking to trim that list. Any ideas on where we can skip out on? I don't want us to get too burned out.
8/17 - Greece - 10 nights - Having a little bit of trouble with this part, as well. We were initially gonna book a cruise deal, but it's a little out of our price range. Any tips here would be welcome, too.
8/26 - Back home.
We've been planning most of our traveling to be through trains, but picked up here that that's not always the best way to go? I'm open to any suggestions there, too. I know the France bit's a little tight.
Thoughts? Thanks for the help.
Tim
