Bits from my Australia/New Zealand life
Last year I moved to Australia for awhile to help my Grandfather build a house in Victor Harbor, South Australia(hour south of Adelaide).
Traveled around a bit, took a trip to Cairns and New Zealand.
Few shots of New Zealand:
Just some random Aussie life:
view from the house we were building(when it's finished it'll be a massive place with amazing views. There are eight sliding glass doors facing the ocean and on the top level has huge triangle shaped windows.)
I lost one of my sd cards for my camera, and it had quite a bit of pictures on it. Sad, but I'll be back down there some day.

Ha, thanks!
Have a few more random ones.
Gotta love the wine. It's good knowing people in the wine biz(so much free great tasting wine...so so so much)
Doing the scuba diving thing at the barrier reef:
Along with the "so so so much wine" I had a bit of a accident/fall two weeks before i left:
Had to hug a roo at some point(never ate of their meat when I was down there):

Never in a million years did I think I'd see my little old home town on here! I can't believe it!
Your grandfather has a beautiful spot in Encounter Bay there, I'll have to look out for it next time I'm home.
Again, that's craziness. Victor Harbor is on TP.

^ yeah I'd be too scared to get that close!
It's a funny photo though, looks like a little kid the way it's sticking it's tongue out!
so, I guess if you helped build the house, you've always got somewhere to stay if you come back? that's lucky!

Haha. It is an amazing spot in Encounter Bay. Even with houses being built infront of him, his will still be big/tall enough to over look them.

The NZ pictures were taking at Kaikoura, where we stayed two nights and went whale watching. Great area. I think it's so amazing that the people that live there have that kind of view every day of their life. Arg. Lucky.
The kangaroos only scary me when they are bigger than I am. Or trying to run me off the rode when I'm on a motorcycle doing 65kmh.

I'm not much of a picturey(I made up a new word) kind of person, but I like this picture too.
House is still a ways from being able to live in. Then after that for it to be finally finished...I doubt that day will come. I imagine my grandfather will be working on bits of that house for a long long while.
Yep, the whole downstairs will be an apartment. It would be great to live in.
