A tropical Island hands down, with the coconut water I can actually make a type of wine letting it age in the open, so I would have my liqour right there trouble free, but I would need my board I would die if I'm in an Island and not be able to surf. Yeah I could live so nice just me the coco water and Wilson! (Castaway joke)

I spent 9 days on Maui once and that is enough. Islands don't do it for me. I would rather be in a Bavarian Mountain village that has a rather large library, beer, and plenty of hot looking Bavarian women to look at.

i have not voted because i would like all and i like the elf market...we could have the forests and mountains and then we could have a real life rpg situation...i have dreamt about that...omg,so much fun,and that would really be survival, and then we will find out if monsters and animals really do have armour and money, hmmm i wonder how quickly i could get to level 20...

I would prefer to be stranded in the forest in the mountains. One could either build a shelter out of the materials in the forest, or find a mountain cave, or combine the two in the mountains. Plenty of food sources not just in the forest but the mountains as well. Plenty water from mountain run off and rivers/streams fed from mountain caps. Stone to make stone tools, and wood to make handles or shafts for spears and bows and arrows; for hunting and other random tasks(gutting, skinning).

Forest for sure. I'd get sick of the sand or the cold after awhile.

Tropical Island. I'm stuck in a Canadian winter right now, which is quite the opposite.

from a survival standpoint, forest in mountains probably has more food sources, although probably more predators.
Also, lets face it, after watching Avatar don't we all sorta want to live in a forest mountains, catching wild animals, learning the ways of the forest warrior, and boning exotic psychedelic forest chicks? hmm or maybe that's just me.
