YES!!!!! I am a total iPhone zelot... let me show you to the promised land.

Games: Words With Friends (you can play scrabble with any friend who also plays), Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio, Doodle Jump, Plants vs. Zombies... and you can find any board game ever.. Yahtzee, Monopoly, etc.

Travel: iTranslate, Kayak, Gate Guru, Yelp, MotionX GPS... most airlines also have their own apps. I've used Southwest's too.

Amazingly useful: GasBuddy (usues your GPS and finds you the cheapest gas in your area), Dragon dictation, Shazam, Converterbot, RunPee (OMG it tells you when boring parts are of movies out in theaters so you can go pee LOL).

Social networking: the usual facebook, foursquare, if you use twitter, twitter for iphone is the best one, IMO... also Beejive IM, takes all you IMs... yahoo, aim, google, etc and makes it into one buddy list.

Comes with its own weather app though not that in-depth, I use the weather channel's app too. Also most banks have their own apps too which is great. I can deposit checks with my bank on my iphone by just taking a picture.

Are you with AT&T or Verizon?

Man, I am sooo old school too. I have a Nokia and don't even have internet on it. Weak. I'm a lame-ass, I know...

I guess I just don't want to get all addicted to the iphone and all it's crazy apps and features. Cuz I am crazy unbalanced like that.

hahahaha ^

Google earth is a great app too.

OnDemand is a hiking app and works well when you have service, not well when you are in the middle of Yellowstone and there is no tower for many miles.

Hopstop is another app that I have yet to really try since we don't have much in the way of trains here. Still it works similiar to a tomtom just without the speaking.

I downloaded the Skype app on my Iphone! Such a steal! You can use it anywhere with free Wifi or even use it over 3G if you have a decent data plan.

I don't have a landline, I only use my Iphone. What I've done is subscribe to Skype's payment plans. Currently, I live in Canada and I pay $2.99 a month for my Skype plan that allows me unlimited long distance anywhere in North America.

It's great, I can call friends and family through Skype unlimited.

This also helps when I'm outside my local-calls area. Say I'm in another city for a week, instead of having to pay all the long-distance fees for calling from another city and all that crap, I just run it through wifi or my data plan for skype. No extra costs, basically a free call.

I've saved sooo much money this way. I never make long-distance calls anymore.
