Default Is Tasmania worth it?

So I'll be in Australia and New Zealand in Mar-May. I was wondering whether anyone had been to Tasmania and whether it was worth the time/money ect.
Thanks.

If only to see the Tasmanian devil. They're really cool, they eat just about everything in their path while spinning around on the spot really fast to the point their just a V shaped blur. They've even been seen to eat entire fridges in one mouthful.

It depends on what you're after.

Tasmania has some beautiful scenery, so if you're into the outdoors I'd say do it, if only to say you've been somewhere none of your friends have been.

If you're just looking to party there isn't really much there that you wont see in mainland Australia.

I regret not making it to Tasmania. One of my very few about Australia.

Tasmania's great for bushwalking, if you're into that. From what I can remember it's not just for crazy serious walkers, there's just really beautiful scenery and a lot of good walking tracks.
It is a really pretty place, but you'd need to give it at least a week I think. If you have that much time to spare, then yeah I'd do it.
It will be quite cold that time of year though - their climate is quite similar to new zealand's.
