The Orbit was one of those hostels that, to me, was neither good nor bad. It was pretty much average. Good points and bad.

Good points:
Location was pretty good, close to shops and stuff.
They put on comedy nights and evening entertainment
Lots of communal space
Cheap meals cooked up in the evenings
Reasonable price ($20 US per night in a dorm)

Bad points:
Rooms were cramped
They messed up our booking for a double room, even though we booked a month in advance!
Cooking facilities were poor (although there was the cheap evening meal)
Reception staff were not always friendly
Could have been more local information given

For 20 bucks, it wasn't too bad, but I probably wouldn't stay again.
