My personal opinion was that it was much easier to be a vegetarian in Europe than in the U.S. I felt that just about every restaurant in Europe has plenty of veggie options which isn't always the case here at home (at least in TX). There's always the option of grocery stores and bread and cheese if all else fails. Actually, there's always ethnic restaurants as well: Chinese, Indian, etc... A quick google search for "European veggie restaurants" pulled up a lot of different sites so you should definitely check that out. Also, some of the guidebooks out there point out veggie restaurants in each city (my Let's Go book did). So yea, it's definitely doable. Good luck and safe travels!!
