Default Samay Hostel, Sevilla

I planned on staying at Samay for about 4 days. It became about a week because the hostel was so great. Clean rooms, hot water (if you dont shower over about 10 minutes), free internet (I replaced the wallpaper with a
Travelpunk logo), a fully equipped kitchen with two stoves/ovens, and an open air terrace with a view of the Giralda. 10 minutes walk from the Alcazar/Cathedral, Plaza de Espana and just a little further for some of the outlying sites.

Great place (I even tried to get a job working for my bed but it didn't work unfortunately) and thoroughly recommended.

I just booked 3 nights here for June 14th - 16th, but I'm leaving open the possibility that I'll love it and want to stay longer. I will keep an eye out for your sticker Joe, and I just gave you a shout out in my tpunk blog about recommending this hostel.

Hehe, cool! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. A favorite pasttime of mine was to sit on the deck upstairs, soak up the sun and drink a few claritas with my hostelmates.

Joey described this place perfectly. I met some awesome people here and would return in an instant to spend over a week here. The only downside is that they close off the terrace at midnight because of the noise.

Oh yeah I forgot about that! We always ended up either going out or hanging in the kitchen (although even in Feb, it got a little warmish so I gotta think in the summer it may have been brutal).

By having such a massive kitchen it became like the 2nd common room. Em and I made a few meals there with some of the other folks.

Thanks for posting the reviews! I think my wife and I (and possible a few friends) will be headed to Seville next year and this really helps my planning.
