Middle East See the Promised Land, the Red Sea, magnificient ruins and mosques, oil-rich metropoles. When you're done with that, go skiing and rock climbing ! |

November though March Travel Weather Questions
I am interested in making it to the Middle East the main catch is that my travel time is restricted to the time I am laid off from work, starting in the beginning of November and going through the beginning of April.
I've been trying to get an idea of the feasibility of a Middle East trip even though it may be during the winter in some areas. I have the idea to start from Turkey and would like to most likely hit, Iran, Syria, Jordan.
I can deal with inclement and chilly weather as long as it's not ridiculous,I'm just concerned that if it's real nasty in some places, I could possibly have land routes cut off and get stuck. I'm sure I'll have no problem being prepared for conditions, I just don't know if it will be possible to make it around some areas.

I know the rainy season hits some areas of the Middle East - usually between late January and mid-April, depending. If you're in a rural area during those times with a lack of improved roads, you're often shit out of luck, so make sure your travel plans are pretty flexible!
