Default Prague

Hi guys, Will be going to Prague for the weekend (Fri-Mon) at end of April to celebrate my boyfriends 30th Birthday. There will be probably be about 10-15 of us.
Just wondering what your advice or tips are for places/areas to stay/avoid - There will be drinking and just general having fun and a laugh - So also open for a few ideas for places to eat, entertainments, etc etc

Cheers guys!

A lot of people recommend Sir Toby's hostel in Prague. I planned to stay there when I was in Europe but unfortunately did not make it to Prague.

I would recommend Sir Toby's.

I stayed for 4 nights a few months ago and it was a blast. Very secure, great kitchen, super clean, and if you are planning on drinking there are a few clubs near by. Crossclub was a crazy club and about an 8 minute walk from the hostel, there was one other really popular club within walking distance, the name escapes me at the moment though.

Shoot, I just found the other club name. It's Mecca, I didn't go to it but I heard it was pretty sweet.

Yeah, I've been to Mecca, its pretty cool. Plus they have a cheap bar in the basement of Sir Toby's where you can get a couple of beers before you head out...

At the minute the flights are looking at around £100 return (ish). We went be buying till end of jan/begining of feb. Do you think that the flights are likly to rise drastically by then?

BTW how much is it at the moment for a beer etc over there? cheers

I would recommend Prague Square Hostel. Sir Tobies is very good hostel but little bit out of center. Prague Square Hostel is located just at the Old Town Square, is very clean.

To go out I enjoyed Mecca a lot but also Chateau Roughe bar, Karlovy Lazne and U zlateho stromu.

Bohemia Bagel is very cheap for lunch and Kolkovna for traditional Czech dinner.

Enjoy!

Sir Toby's hostel is advised to be visited as it is very comfortable and having friendly staff.
