Default Quit your Job and Travel!

Whew it's been a while since I logged in here, Well I'm back, and been traveling on weekends in some local beaches and islands.

I hope I could get to quit my job again soon and travel...for good.

Anyway I've been a member of couchsurfing.com for 2 years now, and my experience was definitely great. Met a lot of people in my travels and they were really helpful. I'm hosting people too if ever you come to my country.

I still find it easy to couchsurf than stay in hostels, not just because of free accomodation but also you get to absorb the culture, place and people on a personal level.

Check out this couchsurfing thread guys!

I really love couchsurfing. Not only has it enabled me to take some really awesome weekend breaks around Europe (which cost next to nothing when coupled with Ryanair flights), but also by hosting people I've explored a lot more of London (my city) than I would have otherwise.

How long were you travelling for last time? This time last year I finished a 2 year long trip, and while it was amazing, I couldn't have gone on for any longer. I definitely couldn't have travelled "for good" as I reached a point where it was no longer special and I felt like I was just travelling for the sake of it. I moved back to the England, started working in London and I'm loving every minute of it. I found that being away for so long made me appreciate my own country far more than I ever did before.

Where do you plan to go next?

I also think couch surfing is a great way to travel but yet to implement it. Looking at the nice experiences of many travelers I think it is a unique way of traveling that gives you a chance to know a place and its people more closely

I plan to go to Europe next time, and hopefully i can save money for that. It's not so easy for me.

@ajb3000 I didnt travel that long, due to limited resources.

@tobiasschnell, yeah I wish I could be happy too, have a job and travel at the same time. You're a son of God.

Yep couchsurfing is really cool. It makes traveling more easy.
