A kick ass girl I met recently told me to check it out. Just got on board a few hours ago, and I can already tell you clowns are nothing but trouble!

If you're looking for a way to promote Tpunk you could try myspace. Make a whole separate username devoted to Tpunk. It seems everyone is on there these days and you can post about Tpunk in the travel groups.

My story -

Hm, truthful for a company I work for they wanted me to go onto message boards and promote this tour de france thing and I came across this. I thought it was better than te others so I decided not to put that crap on here.

I don't remember. I think I was searching for a travel site as well. I can honestly say, even though I don't have many travel tips, I think that this site is the friendliest out there. I've learned a lot about travelling abroad. Just a lot of great folks on this site. Especially you Bri. Oh, almost forgot, I ALWAYS recommend this site to others.

Hahaha.....too funny!

As for me... Pretty sure I found tpunks through another site. No idea WHICH site though.

Just have to say, I haven't needed to search other websites since I found tpunks!

I'm starting to feel a little more at home around here (hence all the questions )

Thanks guys!

Now you'd have ten members if it weren't for search engines. I found this site searching for scholarships. I just barely remember, but I was looking into ways to fund a semester at sea (boat) or looking into scholarships for studying abroad via Fastweb and I think Tpunk was running an essay contest. Either way, I think I showed up afterwards, but stuck around.

Googling for "budget family travel" - something along those lines, planning some trip or another. Tpunk must have been near the top of the page, and I found a question from someone actually planning on backpacking with multiple children -- and more astonishing, she was getting actual, helpful, practical information. SOLD! I get an email from FTF (Family Travel Forum) a couple of times a year, and just scoff while scanning it - they have no clue...

I found it when I googled "backpacking forums" :D since this was exactly what I was looking for. Tpunk was 3rd or 4th from the top o'the list and after checking it out I looked no further. Besides I don't have alot of friends who are as excited or serious as me about this whole backpacking idea so it's nice to talk to and share some ideas with u ppl

I might have been searching for backpacks or railpasses. I don't really remember, but I'm glad I did! This is the most helpful site I've ever been on - for anything! And the best forum I've ever been on, too.
