Default EBags Weekender Convertible MotherLode TLS

Hey Tpunks,

Now that I am working full time I think my multi-month trips are behind me and I will be in that 10-14 day range with most being long weekends. As such, I decided to get a new, smaller, bag for urban destinations (eg any place I am going where I won't have a car).

After poking around, I settled on the. I am still keeping my 65L Eagle Creek bag, but since it doesn't carry-on this fits the bill for me.

As soon as I get it in my hands, I'll give an update for how it works on the road from a backpacking perspective.

That actually looks really, really useful for the short travel or for lots of plane travel. Scared to see the price Once I approach two weeks I have to start thinking about my 65L. I think this thing is way more practical then most standard backpacks. Thanks for the link and let us know how you like it.

Actually the price isn't bad. I got it for 79US shipped (4th of July 20% + free shipping). I got it precisely for the plane heavy type trips. I know Eagle Creek probably offers a better bag at the same size but theirs is 250 bucks.

i have this bag and love it. i have used it for short trips of 5 days or less, but with packing cubes you could easily get 10-14 days worth of stuff in there. i am using it, along with a typical suitcase for my six month study abroad trip, and plan on using the ebags bag for all of my shorter travels.
