Ever tried selling stuff on the road?
Hey, stupid first time traveller question coming up
I'm a brit, planning a 2 month trip to the states this summer (west coast). I've budgetted carefully and I've got enough cash, plus some extra, just in case! However, I will be travelling on a shoestring and I was wondering about supplementing myself by selling handmade hemp jewellery on beaches and streets and the like. I can also do a bitchin' hair wrap, which I thought might be good for marketing to tourists - and both are things I can easily and cheaply get the materials for anywhere.
That said, I have no idea if that's at all feasible. I've seen people do it on other beaches quite often, just putting out a blanket and some wares, but I don't know if there are likely to be more restrictions on US beaches, if I'm likely to get moved on quickly... I'd appreciate any insight at all

where are you going? Just the US? I'd guess the states are more strict about regulations...

I would say take your chances, and if you get shut down, you get shut down... There are more than likely going to be laws anywhere you go in Cali when it comes to selling anything... They want there tax money... But if you arent in the same location everyday, then you should be fine... I would go for it for sure!!! Good luck!!
