Default Get a loan for travel and do it now or just wait and save?

Is it advisable to get a loan for travel? Like pay it when you get back or something? Has anyone ever done this andwould it better to see the world now and pay for it later.

Or just be patient and save save save.

Need your thoughts on this . . .

I have done both, and personally I would recommend to save first!

I know that when you have the lust to go travelling you just want to do it as soon as possible, but when you finish your trip there is nothing worse than handing over a large chunk of your pay check every month to pay back money that you have already spent.

Where are you planning to go?

Default Asia to Europe Overland

I've been to some parts of Asia 'coz It's easier for me. Now my master plan is to go to Europe from Asia overland.

Well It's kinda hard to save being from the third world, double the hardwork.

Always could save part, and try to find work along the way, to help pay for food and or hostel stays. Couchsurfing is a good option to help make it cheaper if you don't mind staying with strangers.

Been a couchsurfer since 2009 and my experiences were great. I stayed and hosted strangers so I'm gonna do couchsurfing when I travel again.

Awesome... glad to hear it. I've known quite a few people who have done it with success. I plan to use it if I end up in Europe.
