VN Northern Tours_beatyful destination for tourists

The northern area of Vietnam is always an attractive destination for tourists visiting the country. After a full day visit to the charming capital of Hanoi, you will take a night train to Lao Cai – a China-Vietnamese border city. From Lao Cai there will be a short transfer to the hill town of Sapa. After exploring the area, you will return to Hanoi and visit Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. You will enjoy ending your trip with a relaxing traditional junk trip and take part in a wide variety of activities like kayaking, cave climbing or just simply sitting on the sundeck for a glass of wine as you contemplate what you seen and perhaps plan for a return trip and extended tour.

Hanoi, the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, is an elegant city located on the banks of the Red River with tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake at its heart. North of the lake are the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, each street named after the trade that used to take place there.
As the capital of Vietnam for almost a thousand years, Hanoi is considered to be the cultural centre of Vietnam, where every dynasty has left behind their imprint. Even though some relics have not survived through wars and time, the city still has many interesting cultural and historic monuments for visitors and residents alike.

Even when the nation's capital moved to Hue under the Nguyen dynasty in 1802, the city of Hanoi continued to flourish, especially after the French took control in 1888 and modeled the city's architecture to their tastes, lending an important aesthetic to the city's rich stylistic heritage. The city boasts more than 1,000 years of history, and that of the past few hundred years has been well preserved.
