guys you need to email those to tony....posting them for everyone to read kind of defeats the purpose of an ebook....

Hey Tony-- just out of curiosity, what about swear words? Allowed judiciously or verboten?

Haha, that would defeat the purpose of it!

when you guys submit a story and have a website or blog that people can go to, here is my recommendation.

If your blog is not on your very own website and is hosted somewhere else like at a popular blogging site or photo site like this-

billybobbiscuithead.blogger.com

sallyjoknucklehead.flickr.com

freddyfoshizzle.compton.com

hughGrection.upforelection.com

I would recommend that you buy a domain name and FORWARD it to your site hosted somewhere else.

This way, if you choose to eventually host your own site and, you can transfer all of your info from their site to yours, then redirect the www.whatever-name-you-chose.-com to your site.

See www.worldwidemike.com, www.stupidhurts.org, and www.findthejake.com. These sites are still hosted somewhere else (I think), but they own their own domain names and therefore can direct their names to go anywhere they choose to go in the future.

Think long term. Because when you submit your stories, these ebooks/books will be in circulation for many years and when people click the links from the stories that you've submitted, rather than going to a site that you might not be using 5 years from now (maybe myspace or blogger, etc...), at least they can go to your new site.

Does this make sense? Domain names are under $10 a year, so it's a great investment. (you might even be able to resell it in the future!)

I can help anyone with the process, so please, if you have any questions let me know!

But get those stories in !!!

Some people have sent stories to me, but for some strange reason they are not coming through.

If you have sent a story to the -feedback@travelpunk.com, but did not receive a reply from me, then I have not received it.

Please send me a PM and let me know that you have a story to send or you may even try to copy and paste your story in the PM that you send me .

Looking forward to more stories guys!

I'm kind of sad I didn't have time to write another article...oh well, next time. These three weeks have been weeks from hell.

Did you get the email with the story title, Tony?

No worries. Yeah, I've been slammed too!

Hey everyone, remember that your stories don't have to be super long. Even if it is one page long and has serious meat to it, that's fine.

I'll extend this another week, maybe longer depending on if some of you need more time than that. I'd rather take a little longer and do it right, instead of rushing it and doing a mediocre job.

So, c'mon all you so called Tpunk's, get yer stories in !

Hey Tone,

Two stories inbound to you. Just sent them, let me know if you didn't get them, or if the file format doesn't work. I'm being a bit of a slacker and just sending you a couple of my favorite travelogues...hope you can use them!
