today's not a good day to ask because I'm stuck inside with a cold and I'm sick of not being able to do anything, but generally I am really happy. I love my boyfriend and our apartment, the suburb we live in is great and I've always wanted to live in sydney. I'm doing a great course at uni and this summer break I'm working with a really great designer and working on my own online store. I guess the only things I would want to change is the fact that I don't have any major trips planned!

I'm satisfied with my life, but I don't often have proper highs or lows. I guess I plod along really, but not in a sad sort of way.

Well in general in life I am rather pessimistic and sarcastic and disgruntled... not necessarily unhappy, so lets say day to day, on a scale of 1-10 (1=sad, 10=really fucking super) I run about a 5, spiking up to 7-8 from time to time, and shooting up to 10 only when happens.

Interesting poll!

I am generally happy but have some mega down days - had a few of those lately, so proberly not the best day to ask me either!

Its summer though so the happiness levels will be increasing! I have a pretty good job, love where we live (even if I hate paying rent!), have a loving b/f (even if he is the one that stresses me out most!) and its nearly christmas!!

Will be interesting to see other replies to this!

Haha.....that's a pretty good description of me...my mood doesn't change a ton. Plodding along sounds kind of boring, I'm sure you do something a bit more like skipping along Lauren!

Ali - Your store looks great...those are really good deals too for handmade one of a kind vintage stuff!

I'm generally a happy person, but there have been definite low moments too. I'm also really impatient and even though I know I have been blessed with a good life, I can't help but want more. I should be more satisfied with what I have though, because I really do have it good compared to other less fortunate people in the world.

I'm really happy right now - but I've definitely gone though some not so great moments. I think everyone has ups and downs throughout life.

hey thanks.. yeah I do all my costing in australian dollars then have to convert it to US$ for the site, so yeah I guess it is a good deal if you earn US$! and I work from home and try to use mainly vintage materials that are given to me or bought REALLY cheaply so that keeps costs down.

^ gee, thanks Laura It's the odd questions that reveal the most, I think. Of course, I'm sort of an oddball.

I'm surprised tpunks are distributed so evenly across... but im glad there are no real miserable tpunks (so far at least).

As for me, I'm usually satisfied, and but happy points during the day. Like when I get home from work, and have a nice smoke and a drink, that makes me happy. Or when I leave my house to meet up with some buddies, that makes me happy. I guess small things give small happiness during the day for me.

Wow I feel the EXACT same... especially in terms of impatience. I also feel that I always "want it all"... and that this desire may mess things up in the end.

I put 'Satisfied with notable periods of happiness during in a day'

I enjoy numerical ranking of things like this, maybe it'd be easier to say, 'from 1-10, how happy are you.'

I think this poll is mostly relevant for our recent feelings. I know I would comment differently on this depending on more recent life issues.

yeah exactly, although I don't think wanting something is necessarily bad if it makes you work hard towards a goal you really want to accomplish. But yeah, if I find myself wanting too much, and not being grateful for what I already have, then I try to look at my priorities again.
