Default Anyones going to Sth America or Europe in Nov/Dec 2008

I'm planning to go on a holiday to either Sth America or Europe for 1 or 2 months from Nov 2008

I'm looking for a easy going travelmate (preferably female but not necessary, from mid 20s to early 30s ), I' m not too worried about going solo in Europe although it would be much nicer to have someone to travel with, I was told travelling alone specially a girl, in Sth America is not safe...

Btw, I'm female, 27, into photograhy and different cultures, love meeting new friends.

Free free to ask me questions (send me a PM!)
Any advice welcome...cheers!

I have never been down South America way, but in Europe it is super easy to find travel companions. Finding people there works really well because you will probably not be around any one person long enough to get on their nerves (or vice versa).

I met plenty of single females traveling alone in South America! They were having a blast. I would say stick the Hostelling International hostels and you'll meet plenty of people to hang out with and probably a few to travel with for a bit!

Welcome to the boards!

My roommate and his buddy will be in Argentina, Chile and vicinity, starting Oct. 27th for about a month and half, and I'm sure they would love a friend down there! They're already making a few connections, and are very outgoing fun people. (both male about 24, super sweet). I'll let 'em know and can put you in touch if you like.
