somewhere warm
Okay I just got my tax return and did everything I needed to do with it and have a lot left over which is fantastic. I am thinking about capitalizing on some of those really cheap airfare deals Southwest and others are running for next weekend or Valentine's Day weekend. I am in this stupid winter funk, I'm pregnant and crabby, and if I don't get out of Columbus for at least a day I might just die. This weather is misery, all I do is stay cooped up in the house. It's time to do something.
So. Anyone have any ideas? Has to be cheap (or have cheap options), has to be WARM. Beach is a plus. I am considering maybe Las Vegas also. Cos while there is no beach, I'd be just as happy stretched out in front of one of Caesars Palace's many pools. Input in the next day or so would be much appreciated, cos I want to buy soon.
Thanks!

Austin is warm now. In fact this has been the warmest winter I have ever experienced. No beaches or anything, but perfect weather. Southwest flies here for cheap... often.

^ same with San Francisco - but not warm enough to lay out on the beach.
Maybe San Diego, Florida Keys?

There's a bunch of cool little towns along the coast of southern California, like San Luis Obispo.

Come on over to the Dominican Republic, Sosua is where I own my condos and I could tell my sister to give you the "very special friends discount!"

You ever think about heading to the Caribbean. I would head straight down to Turks and Caicos for sgorgeous beaches, the ocean, snorkeling, and scuba diving! Dreaming of it right now.
