is anyone planning on going this year?
any ideas on where to stay? it looks like all the hostels in valencia are already booked out

Everything will be booked out months in advance, there's little to no chance of you getting a room. It's not the done thing anyhow.

Leave all your stuff at the Valencia train station, they have nice big lockers suitable for backpacks. Bring a change of clothes, and head of to Bunol the night before. The clean clothes are a necessity they won't let you back on the train unless your clean and fully clothed. There's a huge party the night before that's well worth going to, there are lots of places that will store your bag with clean clothes. We just slept on the street for a few hours (maybe 2 or 3) we where woken by the crowd gathering and where right in the middle of the action.

I had a bitch of a hangover and felt rotten but they started hosing down the crowd with freezing water and that soon cleared the sick head.
