Default Study abroad without any formal qualifications

See, here's my problem.. I would love to spend some time abroad learning and studying but I don't go to university or college (I'm from the UK)

Is there anything for people like me to learn a new language and/or study overseas?

Thanks in advance

you can just directly enroll in some institutions, like the one I enrolled in in Budapest for my possible study abroad this spring. Its kinda expensive though w/o financial aid depending on your situation. I'm actually in school though so I will receive my financial aid, plus I got to apply for a scholarship that I'm still waiting to find out if I got or not.

I also think so.

I studied Spanish in Spain without any formal qualifications. It was a private language school (Enforex) not a university but my goal was to improve my Spanish and live with a family. On both accounts it was successful (though I tried a family stay twice; one was great, one was bad)

Thumbs up Study in Granada

Although I do have a Spanish A Level, there are language courses all over Spain where you do not need any formal qualifications.

I wanted to develop my Spanish further during my summer so I took a language course in Granada, Spain at a language school called Escuela Delengua.

It was an absolutely brilliant experience because the school catered for all ability levels. I was placed in a class where I would progress quickly. As I was staying for 4 weeks, the school helped me to get accommodation that was central and affordable for a poor student like myself!

I would highly recommend Granada to take a language course as their was so much history and culture to immerse yourself in, as well as the free tapas! Furthermore, Delengua arranged activities each week such as trips to the Alhambra, tapas nights and Spanish film!

I met so many friends there from all corners of the world and want to go again next summer!
