Oman?
 

Just wondering if anybody has been to/knows about traveling to Oman? I've booked a one way ticket to Istanbul for next month and I'm looking to take my time exploring the Middle East...I'm finding a lot of useful info pertaining to most Middle Eastern nations, but I'm finding it difficult to find information on Oman.

I've met a handful of random people through my travels who highly endorsed it, but it's proving more difficult than I thought to get info. In particular, it seems there is a bit of a lack of cheaper accomodations.

Anyway, any advice would be most appreciated...sights, accomodations, food, whatever. Thanks in advance!
