Everyone thought I was crazy when I got the boys to paint one of my bedroom walls red...
BUT I LOVE IT! The sailboat picture has exited the building (even though My Mom thought it looked nice....)

Awesome!! I love red. And the picture actually looks really nice with the wall color, IMO. Too late I guess.

Ehh, I am just not much of a sailboat painting gal I guess. I actually took another painting from another unit, moved it into my living room, moved the red flowers from the living room into my bedroom and hung the sailboat in the apartment that I took the OTHER painting from. Is anyone confused by all that?
Its all just a game of musical paintings!

Laura, be prepared to put LOTS of coats of paint. It took seven layers of red before it was all even. Red is apparently the hardest colour to paint a wall.

I know! I painted my bedroom red last summer, and it took at least that! I love the red, but I need some more accessories, like more black and white frames and stuff like that.

Looks awesome Benna. I am a huge fan of bold colors (our dining room is orange right now, I've had a pink kitchen, a bright yellow bathroom and a room with one near black (dark brown) and one brigh red wall). We painted our guest bedroom a "paled red" (no, not pink!) and no joke about the many, many mulitiple coats!!! We did three and got tired and it still looks terrible. Supposedly Benjamin Moore paint is supposed to be killer, but I can't justify $40 a gallon!

I love the red wall! I love color, but am too timid to try it in my own house! I've been here for 8 years & STILL can't make up my mind what color to paint my bedroom
I'm just not much of an interior decorator. (8 years & no curtains in the living room-which I just found out REALLY bothers Mike )

Looks great Benna! Bold colors look so good indoors.
