Asia Truly...a different world. Kazakhstan, Japan, and everything in between. Mekong River, Central Asia deserts, sticky rice, ancient traditions, temples, tuk-tuk... |

hello -- i'm heading off with a group of friends to southeast asia this winter. they, however, are only keen on going for two weeks, maybe three, whereas if i'm going to pay 800 dollars to fly there i want to stay on for a little longer. so i'm considering taking a tour, hopefully an eco-type tour that would be targetted at young(er) people. i know there are a number of such tours in europe from my travels there but i'm not sure if asia is considered enough of a hotbed for young people to target them.
we're mostly going to be spending time in thailand, which stops planned in cambodia and southern china, so i would prefer a tour that would take me to another country or two.
if anyone has any advice, it would be appreciated, thanks!

Hostelworld has a slew of tours online that are just put there so they`re in one place. They`re individually run by hotels, so presumably most of the people on them would be younger.
I know most of the ones in Thailand are from Chiang Mai and Phuket.

Tours in Asia for young people
I did a 2 week tour of China through a company called (Edited). The tours are for young people only (18-35) and they only cover China for now. The tours were tons of fun and we went out almost every night. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to check out China. There website is (Edited)com
Cheers

Hey, you should check out Beach Travellers. They are an Canadian based adventure backpacking tour company that is geared toward 18-35 yr olds. They have trips in Thailand and Bali for either 24 or 36 days.
They are a rad group of people, their Guides are a total blast and crazy fun and are super organized with loads of cool things to do like rock climbing, elephant trekking, cooking lessons, rock climbing, hiking, snorkelling, boat trips. Or if you can just laze about and catch some rays - do whatever you want, its all about you having a killer time!
And the accommodations are amazing. From air-con units to floating water bungalows they have it nailed down.
Check them out at bachtravellers.com
