Hello everyone
I'm a 25y/o male from Arkansas that came across this site about a week ago and have to say it is one of the best backpacking/travel sites I have come across. It has plenty of great and useful information on it. I wish I had come across this site when I traveled to Europe for a month during the summer of 2004. That was one the greatest times of my life. I can't wait to go back. Since I am now in the working world, I won't get that much time off anymore, but I am in inital stages of planning a trip back for around two weeks sometime in April or May of 2007. It's never to early to start planning. Right now, I'm thinking Spain or Eastern Europe, but plans can change over a course of a year. Thought I would give a little introdution to all my fellow travelers out there.

Welcome, glad you found us. Spain and eastern Europe have tons of supporters on these boards, so ask any questions you might have.

Welcome to the boards!!! I lllove Spain and also want to spend more time in Eastern Europe. If I were to do another long trip, I'd definitely focus my energy further east. Cheap, beautiful, tons to see and less tourists! But, I'd make a jaunt back to Spain in a heartbeat!!

I have not spent time in Spain yet. I can't wait to spend time there from what I"ve been reading, but of course, I can't wait to spend time anywhere in Europe.
