Hello All,
It seems that i find myself confronted by quite a choice. I have accumulated enough skymiles to get a free ticket to Europe; therefore, I must make a decision as to where I shall go this March, for a period of nine or ten days...alone:
Rome then to Paris (both of which I have already been)
or
Moscow
I was in both Rome and Paris for only about three days, so I would like a chance to see them both a little/alot more, plus it seems nice to go to a place I am slightly familiar with.
Russia... well it just seems fascinating and place where I could get a truly unique travel experience, but it sort of feels like venturing in to the unknown.
I would love to go to both places equally as much, but my feeble mind cannot make such decisions without assistance.
Any suggestions?

Go to Russia. Try something unique and then on your next trip decide where you liked better and want to go to again to spend more time.
good luck and congrats!

I second going to Russia, take a trip to St. Petersburg as well while you're there, an overnight train would only cost about $10 and it's supposed to be well worth it (I've visited Moscow and had a great time, but I've heard St. Petersburg is better, hoping to go there in the next couple of years).
There are too many places in the world that need exploring for it to be worth revisiting old ground.

Just wondering: I know nine days isn't much, and considering it would take two or three days of travel (I am coming from Houston, TX), would you say it is too little time, or would it be workable?
The thing is, this is probably the most time I would get, at least until the summer of 07'

I say go to Russia, and for $10 I would jump right into that train to St Petersburg....
Think of it this way: A plane ticket to Paris/Rome is much cheaper than one to Russia, besides, the chances of going back to those places is much bigger than going to Russia. I'd deffinitely go there! I wanted to include it on my next trip, but unfortunately I don't heve enough time, so I had to postpone it for a second trip.
