I want to get my stepmom something she'll really love for Christmas. She has been living in the US for the last ten years, but she's an Aussie at heart, and sooo homesick! She is always talking about Australia and how much she misses it and loves it... I want to get her something that will remind her of home... Any ideas from you Aussies?

Get her a small key ring that symolises australia. rmwilliams have realy nice leather platted key rings and she will be able to keep it with her as a reminder all the time. (just a small thought) if i were living overseas and someone got me something like that i would be stoked!

Tim Tams.
I'm not Australian, but having just spent time there, that's what everyone asked me to bring home, especially my Aussie friends living in the States. I filled 1/3 of my backpack with Tim Tams on the way back, I swear.

Nope.. no Tim Tams in the US. It sucks - they're distributed all over the world, but not here. We have to go find them in Aussie stores and pay $7-10/package

Timtams are two choc biscuits sandwiched with choc cream and then covered in choc.
The double coat ones are double coated (duh) with choc - so extra thick layer of delicious choc goodness...
And to prove what I freak I am, there are 11 in a normal pack and 9 in a double coat pack....
They come in all sorts of wacky flavours these days...
Milk choc
Double coat milk choc
Dark choc
White choc (tho only around xmas time I think)
Tia maria
Kahlua (big stink created when these were released as people said it would encourage kids to drink?!)
Chewy caramel
Black forest
Hazelnut
I am sure there's more....
