Hey everybody!
My name's Jeff Nash, and I confess, I have been a lurker around here for quite some time. I apologize haha...I was convicted by TravelPunk's post about lurkers, so I figured I would come out and join you guys! I have appreciated this site and you guys soo much for the helpful hints and dreams, and can't wait to join the family.
About me: I'm 23, live in Tempe, Arizona, and work in Phoenix at The University of Phoenix Online .... I'm a writer by nature, and that's what I love to do. I am an American, and have only backpacked to some American destinations at this point in time, if that even counts as true backpacking --- I have stayed in hostels and fallen in love with the backpacking community through that.
This spring though I will begin my first international backpacking trip, a two-week travel to Israel and Bosnia. I've already met a couple cool people from Israel while staying in U.S. hostels that I will get to meet up with again once I get there, so I'm excited for that.
Anyway, thought I'd say hey and look forward to talking more to you all!
-Jeff

Oh that is a coincidence!
In Tempe, I live off of Broadway and Mill in a house with a few other guys .... any TPunkers passing through are welcome to crash. Where in Tempe did you live?
In Isreal, my travel buddy has some friends in the Old City, and I have a friend from Mesa who is currently living in Haifa.
How long you going to be in Israel for, and where are you at??
Nothing like moving from one desert to the other, eh?

Ha! I lived in Arpeggio at Broadway and Price! I probably passed by your house multiple times a day from school to home to parties to home How long you been living there?
Old City and Haifa - good choices! The Old City is just surreal, man...it's literally about as far away from Arizona as you can get culturally and architecturally...haha you'll love it!
I'm living in Herzliya, which is a suburb of Tel Aviv, and has some really awesome restaurants, pubs and plenty of hot girls---umImean beaches
You'll have a blast here...well...hopefully not a 'blast,' literally ...but seriously it's great
Nice meeting you, and let me know if you wanna grab a brewsky or sumfin if you're in the area!

Cognito -- Totally will man! I think we have to fly into Tel Aviv anyway .... by the way ... you wouldn't know about any of the better deals to get from the States to Israel, would you? I'll be down there around April, so I'll keep you posted! Everyone's been telling me how dangerous it is to go to Israel but, there'll be good times too!
TheJake -- yeah I read your blog and saw you were in Phoenix man, aweesome!! We most deffinitly need to go get some drinks man
I as well am tapped for the next few weeks though But soon my friend, soon.

No way! I graduated from ASU a couple of years ago...and lived just off Apache. Nice to hear from someone in that area!
