Hey everyone,
I am looking to get from Sandiego but landing in LA. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are bus lines that run from the Airport in LA or what a Taxi might charge etc for this. Any suggestions for getting from point A to point B?
Thanks
SuDZ

That would be one EXPENSIVE taxi ride, considering it's typically over a 2hr drive by highway between LA and SD.
There are shuttles that do it from $50+, but I'm not sure which companies do that haul.
You can also take the Metrolink train from Downtown LA to Oceanside near San Diego, but then you'd still need shuttle transportation to/from the airports, and that'd add up.

Yeah right after I hit submit I was like TAXI, what the hell was I thinking?
Thanks for the MetroLink idea, I will keep an eye out and see how that works for me. I will figure something out but figured any tips would kind of help out a lot.
Thanks

there is a train (metrolink) that runs from la/oc to sd. it's 12 dollars one way. the only station i've ridden from is at edison field (angels stadium in anaheim). i'm pretty sure there are plenty of stations in la as well.

From LAX you can take Mta bus route 42 to Los Angeles Union station. Cost $1.25 MTA.net has more info. The city bus is the easiest and cheapest way I know of to get from LAX to Union Station. Amtrak is another option. Direct service to San Diego from LA Union Station is about $34 or metrolink.Metrolink is 11.75 weekdays 8.75 weekends(metrolinktrains.com). Metrolink does stop in my city Oceanside. To get from Oside to San Diego.Try Gonctd.com this site has information/times on the "Coaster" it is a train to downtown San Diego from Oceanside. one way is $5.25.
