Just saw the news about the terrorist attacks in London. I want to pass on my condolences to the people of London, England and the UK at large.

Let's hope no Tpunkers were caught up in this futile expression of blind hatred and intolerance...

Lets hope. I have a few mates who live out in east end and commute in the morning. Add them to the list. I cant believe it.

it took me 4 hours to get through to my partner this morning who works in walthmstow, thankfully he is alright.

My heart goes out to the people that were caught up in this terrible attack where they are victims or family of victims. Like mike said i pray that no tpunkers were caught up in this situation.

Terrorism or bomb attacks are not a new experience for the UK but you cant be put off by extremists, we cant give in to them what ever their wicked motives are.

So sad and useless. My heart goes out. Are there any Tpunkers in general that we know of that might be in the area today?

Has anyone/group claimed responsibility?

My thoughts and prayers go to you U.K. I just got home from class and saw the news. I know it’s been said but lets all put a prayer out that no trunks, their families, or their loved ones were involved in the attack. Along with the ones that are not tpunkers. I am so sorry and angry this type of thing has to happen.

So do ya'll think this is because of the whole Olympic thing? Or is it just a shitty random act of terror?

I don't think it would be over the Olypmic thing...that would mean the French did it...

If it is "Islamic Terrorists" like Blair claims it would be in regards to British troops being in Iraq.

This is from CNN.COM from the group claiming responsibility for the bombings

Quote:
\"We still warn the governments of Denmark and Italy and all the crusader governments that they will receive the same punishment if they do not withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan,\" it said. \"We gave the warning, so we should not be blamed.\"

I heard on the news that they believe that it has to do with the war on Iraq because on that website that the "Secret Organization group of al Qaeda Organization in Europe" posted on it also posted a warning to Italy and Denmark, and both countries are a part of the war.

....and to think that if this bombing had happened before to Olympics vote, London might not have won out on 2012.....

My deepest regrets to all the victims.....

i just remembered that I have a cousin that lives in London... and the sadness that i was feeling just turned into this cold fear... I know it sounds terrible but it feels so much more real and... scary when you think that someone you know is affected...

God I hope this gets sorted out and that whoever did this gets caught...

my friend left kings cross 10 min before the bomb went off.

I think it was a very influential statement Blair made with all the presidents and prime ministers standing behind him. I think this will show the world this was not intended as an attack on london, but an attack on the first world. The G-8 look united on this one and the repercussions could be massive.

The next few days could change the course of history.

well to give you guys an update, it wasn't anything to do with London getting the olympic bid as that only happened yesterday and this would have been planned months ago, its more likely to have been planned because of the G8, the G8 being held in England had been planned a year ago, you have all the representatives from the 8 most important countries in the one place so on the first day of the summit you attack that country, it was just luck that it was the day after england got the vote to hold the olympic's cos it could scare people off from coming here for the olympic's.

You know it's the same people behind this as was behind the madrid train bombings and 9/11...... i'm gonna say this and no-one take this the wrong way but thes crazy people are smart and i'm surprised that as bad as this was it wasn't worse i.e the twin towers......people that where on these trains but wheren't hurt said in their interviews, everyone was waiting for an attact in England but still it is hard to accept.

Ever since sept 11th when blair stood with bush england was a target, and everyone knew it most of the people that walked away from this said it, i'm just happy it wasn't as big as sept 11th

why these people still feel the need to make it known that they are not going away is beond me, but that is what they are doing to remind us that they are there so watch your backs. sick fucks.....

See as alot of the news shows pointed out tonight is that england has had there share of bombings, so it is nothing new to them, just that it had not happened in a while and also that they have had alot worse than what happened today.... so i hope the sick bastards that did this where watching the news because even thought what they did was so wrong they didn't do anything compared with the shit england had to deal with in the past.
