Just wanted to say hi, I'm new (obviously). I've been living in France for about 2 months now and just signed my life away to the devil himself to continue my internship until December - which (ditching another semester at school) is the perfect opportunity to travel!
I plan on backpacking from July 24-Aug 2, visitng friends in Amsterdam and in Manchester, but I wanted to go to Berlin to catch some concerts or something - pretty much, I've just never been to Germany and my Eurail pass is up on the 29th so the more I can use it, the better! So if y'all have any Germany ideas, send them my way.
Enchante!

My tip in Germany is Dresden, just North of the Czech Republic border. It has many historical buildings but the part I liked the most was using it as a base to hike between villages (through forest and beautiful views of cliffs) along the Elbe River.
It is also great if you stay in the Neustadt area of the city, a colourful neighborhood with many drinking holes as you can have a beer and kebap after a hard day walking!

Thanks all for the welcome! Also, any advice on Eurail passes and date changing. I am trying to pull a stealth move without getting busted. Any ideas? (it's just 5 days, nothing TOO huge) I only changed the dates from the 23rd to the 28th because originally I thought it expired on the 29th, my bad. But this way I can still use the 5 extra days for travel, I mean i did pay almost 400 for the damn thing. Question is, likelyhood of a 21 year old girl travelling by herself getting questioned on 5 little days?????
