Thumbs up

this one is a two part questain.

the set up:

I will be flying into rome and arriving on a tuesday at around 7:30 am, August 23

Q1: I want to go listen to the pope speak(wednesday), will I still be able to get tix on tuesday for the next day?

Q2: If not and someone is going to be in rome the thursday before (the day they become available) that would be August 18, would you please go get tix for me and my travel buddie, they are free and I would be willing to thropw you a couple bones for your trouble or buy you a couple drinks

Any help??

Usually ticketts for Vatican events are given out on the day before on a specific day/time before the event. So you might want to check into when that will happen.

Also, remember that as it stands right now on Sunday, August 21 2005 the Pope is expected to be in Cologne, Germany for World Youth Day. This obviously is an opportunity for him to go back home and visit the places that mean something to him. Another words he may not even be in Rome on the Wednesday. If I was you I'd wait to see what announcements will come from the Vatican over the next months if you're really set on seeing the new Pope... OR you can make your plans flexible enough to make sure you can see him when he is there.

Hope that helps.

LOL! In that case all you can do is wait and see if he'll be in Rome or not - hope it works out for you.
