Hi everybody! My name is Paul and I am from Minnesota, USA. I am heading off to Europe in the middle of August for a 2 month adventure. I am starting off in Paris and heading east eventually making a huge loop ending in Barcelona. If anyone has any suggestions on key locations, or if you know you will be in the vicinity around this time, let me know.

Hi Paul, welcome to TPunk !
Two months is a good length for your loop around Western Europe. I can't help you with suggestions, I mostly did Eastern Europe, but you will get them from good specialists.

I agree with Atchoum...you should be able to see quite a bit in 2 months. In France, I love Provence and the Mediterranean area. Such cool Mediterranean scenery, nice historical sights...it's the best of France, IMO. Spain is awesome, as well. Make sure you get down to the south, too, as well as Barcelona.

Sorry, I can't help with anything west of Switzerland, but there's tons of people here who can let you in on some great places to see.
Welcome to the Boards!
