hey tp,

i remember a while back there was a trailer or something for your movie, where is it at know?

eastern europe's cheap movie prices have returned me to a long lost love of film. i love being able to go to the theatre for a dollar, taking in what ever i want, ie. beer, fried chicken. i never seem to go to the theater at home, the cost is prohibitive.

if you ever go to the town of oradea in romania, there is a fantastic two screen theatre there, straight out of the fifties. wood seats, a guy pulling the curtian back, all the seats at the same level. i half expected lee harvey oswald to walk in at any minute.

Wow! What a gem! Guy pulling the curtain back, bringing in fried chicken- Holy smacks, batman! Sounds like you hit a nice little jackpot It would be nice to film a little scene in a movie in a theater like that.

I´m still editing and it is an exhausting, yet thrilling, and extremely lonesome existence. I can´t believe what we did with what we had. We have a lot of footage. I must have 500 cuts in the first half already and still have to edit the second half of the movie(should be quicker-less cuts). Then, I´ll rewrite some of it, and I´ll need to head back to Spain at some point to get a few more shots in, and re-do a couple of shots that could've been done better. All in all, it will still be a movie done for under $2,000.
I´ll keep y'all up to speed on the progress.

You seem to be chillin pretty good in Romania. how long are you there for?

i'll be in romania for one more day, no actually, fourteen more hours then on to bulagaria, four days there then macadonia, montenegro, bosnia, and then croatia. six weeks into my journey, three more left, the pain of returning home has already begun to hit me. in some ways i would like to just keep going, head through turkey into syria, then isreal, egypt and africa all the way down to the cape then jump a frieghter to australia; and never stop.

but, then there is the side of me that wants to sleep in my own bed, even though it is less comfortable then most i've had in the past six weeks. then wake up go see kieth, the overbearing alcoholic cook at the diner down the street, eat a good southern breakfast, smoke a spliff with friends. you know, live my life.

but, then i also know that three months after returning home i'll be itchin' to get back on the road. i'll go out to the train yard by my house sit there and watch them creap by for hours, and then something in my head will say, 'that's the one' and before i know it i'm running to catch it before the yardies catch me. fall asleep and wait till it stops.

Three weeks left! I guess all good things must come to an end at some point...or do they have to ?
Hey, if I had the extra time and money, I'd keep it going But that's just because I always like shaking up my comfort zone. Life is feels fuller that way B) .

Everytime I'm away, I do miss some things like friends, family, normal english conversation, etc... but then when I'm home, after making the "welcome back" rounds, I feel like heading straight on out again. For me, it´s like 3 days later :D

Millions of people dream of being in your very position right now, bro. Free to roam the world....

Then again, there´s nothing like crawling in your very own bed for a good nights sleep ^_^
