A lot of you guys have worked all over the place, what's the best country you've ever worked in, money wise and work wise??

I'm asking because i just realised that i have absolutely nothing keeping me where i am so i was thinking about getting some work overseas somewhere. A lot of aussies go to england for work, but i HATE cold weather so i'm not real keen on that idea. Is it hard for aussies to get work in the US??

Would you have a u.s working visa?? If so, its reasonably easy for Aussies to find work in the US - depending on what work you wanna do I guess, and what area of the country. I worked there for a few months, mainly waitressing and retail with a full student working visa. It took a while for my social security number to come through though, and until I got it most employers didn't wanna know me. After that, walking into places with a resume *and shamelessly flaunting the accent a little* found it pretty easy.
A few friends have done it without a visa, but obviously found it harder to find jobs willing to pay cash in hand..

Not sure if the states are the best place to work money-wise...but where is really? Hospitality industry can be a killer, but also hugely profitable - all depending on ur tips. But even if I have the intention of coming home with extra cash, the option of spending it while i'm over there usually wins!
