how does travel and work between the US and Canada work? do you need to get all documents filled out as if you were traveling or working in, say, germany?

id like to live in canada for a while, and i dont want to do anything that could get me busted.

if u want to work here (legally) you have to get a visa (like 6 month contract or something....u know the usual)....but im not quite sure exactly of what the process would be as to GETTING one of these.....Just talk to ure bank advisor im sure they could help you out immmensely. I know that for my friend to go to australia nad work she has to have at least 5k in her account, but im not exactly sure about the us/can.......dont think its that harsh
