Buying the plane ticket is always my reality check. Holy shit, I'm really going-time.
By the way, why aren't you in chat, damnit.
Have fun babe.

Let the dreams begin!!!!
Now that you've made THAT plunge, you'll probably be spending the time between now and your departure planning and dreaming - it's really another part of the travelling fun that is underappreciated!
Congrats!!

Congrats - now the anxieties and bad dreams set in! Maybe that's just me.

Well I had a couple of bad dreams before I bought the ticket, so I am hoping that it will end those. In the first one, our plane crashed...
And in the other one, I went with my boyfriend instead of Shanie and he ended up hooking up with another girl at the beginning of our trip and ditching me!! Let's hope that the bad dreams are done!

Haha Brit, just have to laugh. I'm so glad I'm not alone - anytime anything significant happens I have the most anxious dreams leading up to it. So far, dreams have been good, except for the one where we were in Ireland and I forgot to cash our CD before we left so we had no money. Oh, and I didn't finish planning anything.

the great thing is you only get the bad dreams the first time
then you realize that a life full of travel is what was meant to be normal, not what society has deemed a "immature-get it out of your system now" thing.
so have fun and come back changed!

Nah, not for me. This is my 2nd (Europe) and my millionth time traveling. Really, I have nightmares about everything. It won't end until I'm in Ireland and then I'll start having nightmares about coming back for friends wedding.
