I've been posting but never introduced meself, I'm Turk from Galway in Ireland, I haven't done much traveling. I've gone to England Scotland and wales on work and tenneriffe with the ol queen but never traveled alone, outside the country.
I want to make the most of being a European and travel around a bit the only problem is I'm absolutely useless at planing things I just do it and hope for the best. So I'm trawling trough here looking out for other peoples mistakes so I can capitolise.
Glad I found some experts anyway.

Slainte
There's nothing wrong with spontaneity. We start off our Europe leg in Ireland - very excited to go there.

the fact that you can't plan anything is what MAKES you a backpacker. Just grab enough money to slink back to Galway with if you get in trouble, buy a map, throw darts at it and go where ever the darts land. It's called living baby!!

I am a complete over planner and I'm determined to only plan the very minimum of what I need for the trip. Down with planning!!! Hee hee. Glad you introduced yourself though!!
