So last week i was in tampa and had to spend a night there, and i found a great hostel... and the night i stayed there, well there just so happend to be a writer there from lonely planet. She was a cool chick, with loads of stories about everywhere all over the world... so when we got chatting ( ) i mentioned travelpunk to her , and told her how great the site is ... and told her to check it out. she sounded really interested and who knows... maybe she will mention it in her new book!!!

who knows, maybe one day everyone will know TP ... then maybe there will be travelpunk books!!!

Cool... good work to spread the gospel of TP to those that have the power of inclusion to the masses.

THAT IS SOOO AWESOME! although I really like the crowd we've got on here and I fear that LP hookin up TP will bring in a whole bunch of travel kooks (sorry to use a surfing term on ya) Let's just hope it brings out more people who are really gonna treat the site with the respect it deserves!

Nice work!

We should make a TP flyer that we can d/l and print out and just give to hostels as we travel to put up on their info board.

As long as knowledgeable TPs continue to keep the site going, no matter how big it gets, the site will be great.

I really like the idea of putting out a TP book ourselves.. sort of a mix between nitty gritty price breakdowns and personal advice and stories... I always check out guide books before I go somewhere, but I like to talk to friends who've been there, they give the best tips... It would be awesome to have that in book form.

Fear not, MG! Kooks don't stand a chance against our Mod squad )that includes you) and Recog's .

Yes, yes....Someday there will be TPunk books, but to do it right will be a massive undertaking. Time, money, and resources, all have to come together in harmony for me to get this thing going. I can safely say that at this present juncture, these three necessary components have not simultaneously crossed paths....yet.
