Well I was thinking today what my most favorite Travelpunk moment was...and this is it... Australian Rescue
Hayley210 was having such a rough time, and she stood up and took action...with a little coaxing from the Travelpunk crew...
I wonder how she is doing??
A VERY,VERY,VERY close second if not tied is the Chicago meet up with Tecia,WWM & Sij

I'd have to say the meet-up with TravelPunk, Carmen (his beautiful girlfriend), Voyd and Pinion in Vancouver!! And the fun Seattle stuff / hanging out with Voyd for the week that he was here.
Other than that, I get a daily kick out of something or other on TP!

My fave tp moment was ash, tecia, jake and me trying to sit on a luggage cart outside some hotel in vegas waiting for tony to drive up.. then we all realize we have no idea what he looks like...

My favorite TP moment is the Fab Four meet up in Chicago. The first of many. It was so cool to actually meet some travelpunkers.
2nd would be the Super Six in Philly... I had never been to Philly and to get such a great tour it was magnificent. It was worth being up for 40 or so hours.
Good times... good times.

Yea, the Chi meet-up this past Christmas is certainly mine. Makes a big difference meeting people in person.

Hmmm.
1. This past December Chicago Meetup. My first time flying solo, and meeting SD and KCL
2. The Philli Meetup: Tecia's infamous meeting with the ice.
3. Retro and Me! Having fun with the little punk kids - that kid was so gnarrly.

I definitely have not been here as long as most of you guys have, about 5 days to be exact. But my favorite moment was finding this website. I just recently caught the travel bug and was trying to find out as much information as I could, and this website has been like my savior. I know more know about backpacking then I thought I could ever know.

Ahhhhh if only I could remember some of the Pamplona meet up....lol...just kidding.
It's pretty impossible to decide but there's a couple people here who know about this. Tecia, Lauren, maybe Jake(Somn), Ashley(?), James(?) When we were in Pamplona and we were walking through that area that looked like a flea market and there was that paella booth with the music playing and that older man and woman who worked in the booth just up and started dancing to the music. For me that soooooo summed up the Spaniards, some of my favorite people.
Remember??

That last post there makes me think of this thread as some stoner movie with the story teller trying to get his burned out buddies to remember something...
[Jim Bruer like]"...and like you remember that one time, Mike you were there man... I remember. And that lady was totally throwing up on Joe. Mike, come on man you remember that, right? Cause you were there dude, and I was with you man. Remember? Yeah, I knew you'd remember man."
Sorry... it's late, i don't get much sleep. To think just 3 minutes ago I posted on Quantum Reality....

I think my favorite TP moment was the night in Philly with the "Super Six" crew. We were sitting atop the "Rocky" steps. The night was so beautiful...we had a lovely view of the city lights. It was cool but not cold.
And it was as I was sitting there, having just spent an awesome day and evening with fun, like-minded folks, I had one of those introspective moments. I thought how we owed that warmth and companionship we shared that day to something as simple and fragile as we all happened to check out the same website. None of us would likely have been there that night -- and certainly not together -- if it weren't for Travelpunk.
Somebody else's effort to create a tool to help travelers had brought us together, had made us friends, and had given us that magical moment atop the Rocky steps. Sometimes, the world seems so big and so much is going on. But for that moment, it slowed and I felt connected.
Thank you guys for the memories, and also thank you Travelpunk, for a night that -- I can still see clearly...

Wow this is really tough - was it the day I became a specialist or the day I put my avater in???
Hopefully in a few months I'll have cool meet up stories too. Otherwise, I'll just continue with my plan to run off to Europe (June 13th) and then forget about this place.
