Hey peeps! I live in Reno NV and am gearing up for the ski season here at Lake Tahoe. Im a big fan of meeting new people so if anyone is traveling through Reno or Lake Tahoe from now through New Years drop me a line and I'll take you snowboarding or something like that (providing I know in advance for work reasons). B)

Cool that you live in Reno.

I used to go up there all the time in Winter, but not last year. As you are, I am also up for meeting new people, so maybe we could do that. Then I will finally be able to show someone my trademark '540 invert face grind'. I can do some kick-ass 'yard sales' too. Although the skiers generally have the market on those.

You're the one who liked my Yosemite photos eh? Well, I'll extend the same offer to you then. If you can come down, I'd probably be able to meet you there and we can go climb El Cap or something. I am only a few hours away from it.

hahahaha yard sales are some of my favorite tricks my friend. Im not that good but my little brother pulls of rodeo flips and all kinds of shit that I only dream of, so I think maybe I could keep up with ya on the face plants :P .

Im down for hittin the coast but I cant for a few months so yosemite may need to wait until next summer because I think it gets pretty damn cold in the winter. Late December I'll be driving to LAX to pick up my girlfriend and we will spend a few days in LA and then head up to the bay so maybe we can stop by and grab a beer or somethin', let me know man.

TUI,

are you still going to Europe in Nov.?

About the Cali thing, I would most certainly be up to showing you some good places around here. I am halfway between LA and SF so, it makes a good stopping point, unless you decide to go up 5. Yeeeeccch!
I think it is just as fast to go up 101 and a lot safer, especially in the winter time. Being a 'college town', this place has quite a number of good pubs and bars. Lots of local microbrews. They also have shitloads of wineries around here too. It is the next Napa for sure.

Out

no, i live in milwaukee, wisconsin-( what we have here is beer, more beer, fried food, and everyone smokes fags.........(aka cigerettes)-----------its 70 miles north of chicago ( the third coast ) my brother lives in sac town-------aka........sacramento ---the lefty capitol of the world......but im moving soon to portland, oregon also lefty.....and im going to drop some of my brothers old stuff on my way to portland ( a small detour ) but he's worth it. i just wanted to try snowboarding once in my life before i die. and the donner ranch ski resort is the cheapest place i have ever been to. (if u get there before 9am or are the first 50 people then the lift ticket is $10 bucks) .....last time i skied ---with ski's, well my ankles were so sore i couldnt walk, and that destroys your vacation. and those snowboarding boots look so comfortable.

When you say lefty, are you referring to its political climate or the fact that there is a lot of left handed people there??

If it is the latter, then I would have to disagree. Berkeley is quite bit more left-winged. Or since we are including the world, one could say that Havana, Cuba is even more lefty. But I digress.

BTW I am left-handed.

You should definitely try snowboarding before you die. It is a lot of fun and pretty easy to learn. You will spend the first hour or so on your ass. So, wear a few layers of underwear or those nifty bicycle shorts with the gel inserts. My first time I actually made it down the hill upright was akin to another first time I...um...well....you know...it involved girls.

Yup, do it to it. There is also some decent boarding to be had in Oregon too. Mt. Hood.

i meant lefty as polictal climate, but being a south paw is rare; i would have never guessed. but talking about skiing-------ya i would always see the new snowboarders on the ground slideing on there butt.----- im glad u mentioned the gel-insole 4 the butt. i have some and i defineatly would have never remembered to wear them. but i now i wont forget.

Folks my Europe trip has been delayed considering the fact that on New Years in San Francisco, I intend to ask my girlfriend to marry me. Dont worry though, I just turned 24 yesterday and Im feelin young, so Europe is for sure on the roadmap.

yeah TP its San Fran for New Years, that was her decision, she has seen many movies and shows based in Frisco so she wants to go there while she is in the states more than anywhere else. We plan on hitting Vegas a few days after but not on New Years
