So sure, sue me, Austrailia day was yesterday not today. I went out with my posse, about 20 people and only two aussies among us, but thats fine. Went to a Belucci's and it was packed, so much fun. When we go out, we all kind of drink and dance and hang together, with outsiders circling us like sharks. Heh. But it was Austrailia Day so we made friends with more Aussies than I thought existed. Anyway, I dont know what Austrailia Day is about, we used it as a legitimate excuse to get pissed and have a good time. Anyone able to enlighten me?
You know you had a good time when you make it back to your room and can't for the life of you remember how you got there. Then you forget to care and play drinking games until 3, only to get back up at 7 and go to work, springing lightly out of bed with nary a tinge of hangover. Woooohooo!

YES! Happy Australia Day! Not surprising that you are celebrating it London with so many aussies there. We basically celebrate the day the brits dumped crims over here. I guess its the equivalent of the USA's Independence day.
We also use it as an excuse to get pissed, have a national holiday, a BBQ and play some backyard cricket.

Happy belated aussie day!!!! My first one. It was lovely. I quit my shitty job in melbourne. I actually walked out mid-shift during the busiest time. haha fockers. Then i went to pj o'briens for a pint. Home for a snooze, time for some goon drinking (cheap wine), then to the espy (pub) for some pints, then to a club to dance the night away. Home at 5am....aussie aussie aussie.....
