Can someone pleeeeease give me a "Putting Pictures and/or links up on these pages-for Dummies" version of putting pics or links up. I put my pics on Yahoo photos and then tried to link them and got a red X for my troubles. And I have no idea how to put pics directly up on the page. How do y'all do it? Am I that much of an idiot?????<--Smacks self for being an idiot and subsequently makes self dumber. D'OH!!

when posting click the "IMG" button up top and enter the website that the pic is at. ( http://www.mysite.com/pic1.jpg) I know some sites get picky about linking to pictures. (have no clue about yahoo). Then it should show up.
As far as direct posting... that's not an option for most of us.

hey jason-- I think the problem is that yahoo doesn't allow direct linking (aka hotlinking), in which case it's not you, it's them.  You can send the pics to me and I can post them for you if you want. Or set up a photo account at a hosting page that DOES allow hotlinking, like photobucket (which I use.) When you get that done, highlight and copy the link of the picture you want to post, then paste it into the body of this text, then highlight it again and click the IMG tab, and you're set!

Photo is not visible on my end  .
I think that if you're using a yahoo link, you have to designate it as a "public" folder as opposed to a "private" folder, or however they word it.
Private folders require a password for the viewers to use before they are allowed to view the photos.
